Nailah Hunter is a Los Angeles–based multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer. As a solo recording artist, she draws listeners into an enchanting cosmology through ambient frequencies and mystical folk. Weaving the hypnotic resonance of her harp with an electronic palette, she conjures soundscapes of fantasy, psychedelia, and dreamworlds.

Hunter has released several singles and two EPs on Leaving Records, including Spells (2020) and Forest Dark (2022). In 2022, she offered Forest Dwelling with Longform Editions—an incantation of nature worship. In 2024, she released her debut full-length album Lovegaze on Fat Possum, received as “a bewitching testament to the resiliency of the natural world.” Most recently, in 2025, she collaborated with Adee Roberson on IYUN (Celestite Records), a project that explores healing the seven energy centers through expansive, meditative sound.

Alongside her recording career, Nailah is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher (200hr, The Tree Yoga) who creates nurturing spaces of rest, renewal, and transformation through yoga and sound. She offers group and private yoga sessions as well as immersive sound baths—available both in person and online—that invite deep relaxation and inner balance. She also creates bespoke guided meditation recordings designed to support the listener in everything from everyday needs such as sleep and stress relief to meaningful life passages including childbirth and other profound transitions.
